Dustin Johnson is an associate attorney with The Franchise and Business Law Group, a Salt Lake City, Utah-based law firm. As a newly admitted member of the Utah State Bar, Dustin’s goal is to assist in the growth and development of the firm’s corporate and business practice and someday become a “trusted advisor” to many valued clients. Dustin enjoys participating in the growth of businesses from inception to formation to expansion, while making it easy for clients to focus on what they do best.
Dustin is admitted to practice law in the state of Utah.
A native of the South Bay area of Los Angeles, Dustin and his wife decided to exchange the beaches of L.A. for the Wasatch mountains and all the outdoor activities that the state of Utah has to offer. When outside of the office, Dustin enjoys playing and watching ice hockey, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
In 2007, Dustin graduated from California State University, Long Beach, where he majored in political science and became a member of the Phi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. In 2015, after spending several years traveling and working for a variety of small to mid-sized businesses, Dustin decided it was time to go back to school and obtain his law degree. Dustin graduated from Loyola Law School in May of 2018. While attending Loyola, Dustin served as a production editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. Dustin also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Kelvin D. Filer of the Los Angeles County Superior Court and began building his business law foundation as a law clerk at a firm in Manhattan Beach, California.
